‘The Emissary’ Screening at Base Camp

The Emissary will land at Base Camp Coffee in Sister Bay on Oct. 26, 7 pm. This family-friendly, sci-fi epic adventure film was shot in Door County with a cast of local actors. Enter a raffle to win a DVD, a spaceship kit, and other movie merchandise. After the show, meet director Tim Erskine, co-producer Holly Erskine and cast members.

In the film, a lone space traveler named Koyper lands his spaceship in Newport State Park, only to be witnessed by three Door County locals out on a sunset meditation walk, and a life-saving and heartwarming adventure begins.

Base Camp is located at 10904 Hwy 42, Sister Bay. Doors open at 6 pm. The screening is free and open to the public.
