The Future of Door County

The Door County Community Foundation recently awarded the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeastern Wisconsin a Sustainability Grant from the Children and Youth Fund to support Youth Mentoring programs in Door County.

“The young people in Door County are our future community leaders, professionals, volunteers and mentors. The Community Foundation is privileged to support this program that matches positive adult role models with our local youth to encourage healthy behaviors and decision making,” said John Herlache, board member and past chairman of the Door County Community Foundation.
