The Garden Door Is Closed Temporarily

Because of COVID-19, the University of Wisconsin Peninsular Agricultural Research Station has closed its grounds to visitors, which has resulted in a temporary closure of The Garden Door, a public garden located on the research station’s grounds.

“Although open year-round, visits to The Garden Door do not begin in earnest each year until the bulbs and flowers of spring begin to sprout,” said Jeanne Vogel, president of the Door County Master Gardeners Association. “Thus, we are disappointed that visitors will not be able to witness this annual sign of regrowth. Rest assured that this closure is temporary, and as soon as the research station allows visitors on its grounds, The Garden Door will reopen.”
