The Great Lakes Rhythm Kings Return to Camp David

Fishstock Concerts Series present the Great Lakes Rhythm Kings at the Camp David Party Barn on Aug. 19 at 7 pm.

This event marks the return of this great Dixieland jazz band. The group began its performances 35 years ago at what was then Powell’s County Inn (Sonny’s) in Fish Creek. After contacting clarinetist Jerry Rife, the original bandleader was able to round up five of the original band members from across the U.S.

This performance will be a trip through memory lane for those who remember their remarkable music with its New Orleans style and upbeat rhythms.

General admission is a $15 donation and free for kids 12 and under. Preferred seating is available for an additional $5 per seat. Food and drink are allowed to all Camp David concerts and non-alcoholic beverages are always free at events.
