“The Holy Trinity”
Grant Burge “The Holy Trinity” GSM 2009 Barossa Valley Australia
In contrast to last week, this week we choose Mourvedre blended wine from Australia made in the Southern France style of Rhone.
Appearance: Brick red in color
Aroma: Vibrant aromas of ripe red cherries, raspberries and subtle floral notes
Flavors: Cherry and floral notes continue onto the palate, along with silky smooth tannins and a delicately refined structure
Finishing Notes: Well balanced and elegant, tannins and acidity pair up nicely throughout
Perfect Pairing: We would suggest a crispy roasted half of a duck with stir-fried Chinese greens with baby spinach, bok choy and mushrooms in a ginger, oyster and soy sauce.
