The Last Dancers Rock The Ladder House

The Last Dancers will perform at The Ladder House, 38 S 3rd Ave in Sturgeon Bay, on Friday, April 17 at 10 pm.

The Last Dancers are Adam Mackintosh, Pat Bohan, Craig McClelland and Rob Gay. The group debuted their live performance at last year’s Steel Bridge Songfest with a 30 minute set on the main stage, which was well received and motivated the four to book shows through the winter regionally.

After a few dates around Madison, The Last Dancers started doing an occasional fly-in date to west coast cities like Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles.

Their style is a blend of rock and roll and songwriter rock. Adam Mackintosh, lead singer and chief songwriter gives a style to the music that is hauntingly familiar yet original and says of his writing, “Many of my songs are just hanging there in the air, I take a deep breath and blast them out.”

Concertgoers will see some top-notch guitar playing by both Bohan and Mackintosh who utilize lap steel and 12 and 6 string electric guitars to flesh out the band’s unique sound.

Tickets are $5 for the two-hour show. For more information call the Ladder House at 920.743.3315 or visit the band’s Web site: http://www.thelastdancers.com.
