The Legend Lives in Door County

Wisconsin author Arthur Cola will be bringing his new legendary tale to O’Meara’s Irish House in Fish Creek on Saturday, Oct. 9. His new novel, The Shamrock Crown and the Legend of Excalibur, is a family centered treat as the reader is introduced to King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table through the eyes of a 21st century Wisconsin family and a bit of magic from the King of the Wee Folk. He will be signing his books at O’Meara’s Irish House in Fish Creek as part of the store’s 35th anniversary celebration.

The author is excited about returning to Door County where he first launched his earliest work, a children’s book: Papa and the Gingerbread Man. And though it’s Halloween which is on everyone’s mind right now, this Christmas themed tale is sure to delight the little ones with the exploits of a grandfather pursuing the elusive cookie man in America’s oldest city, St. Augustine, Fla. Cola will have this magical tale available as well at the O’Meara’s book signing event.

But it’s the ancient Celtic tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table which will be brought to life on Saturday, Oct. 9 as Cola shares his story about an ancient quest unfulfilled for 1,500 years.

Come and meet the author of The Shamrock Crown and also be introduced to the sequel to it as well. The Stone Cutter Genius will make its debut during the Holiday season.
