“The Main Street Road Show” featured at The Flying Pig Gallery

Kristin Smith, one of the many artists featured at Fly Pig, combines painting, photography, and electronic imaging to create her artwork.

The Flying Pig Gallery and Greenspace announces a unique collaborative exhibit of artwork from the seven artists of Main Street Art Works cooperative in Hilbert, WI. The exhibit runs from May 29 through July 5, with an artist reception on Saturday, June 5, 3 – 6 pm.

The exhibit features a representative sample of each artist’s current portfolio, including encaustic, monoprints, assemblages, photography, fiber art, painting, watercolor, drawing, sculpture, and cast bronze. Bonnie de Artega will present her new direction in encaustic, while Scott Edwards displays original gelatin silver photography. Fiber artist Pat Filzen shows vases and vessels created from felted wool and sculptor Teresa Lind Schweitzer will be showing her new bronze wall pieces. Terry Hope works in colored pencil, creating images from her home and across central Wisconsin.
