The Meadows Art Gallery Features Three Expressive Artists

The Meadows Art Gallery is featuring three artists in September: Connie Glowacki, Polly Joubert and Beverly Hart-Branson. They are each accomplished with a style that is uniquely their own.

Glowacki’s well-known watercolors have vibrant color that is used for representational works. Her subject matter is usually tied to Door County, but she explores subjects that have universal appeal.

Joubert takes viewers of her paintings to a different time in each subject. The detail tells the story. The composition brings a recognizable Door County location to the viewer, but then tells a story of a particular event or historical time with very crafted color use and fine art composition.

Hart-Branson creates pure energy in her paintings. The mechanics of painting, how each image is built, grabs the viewer, especially with her expressive brush strokes and strong use of color.

This show will run from Sept. 1 – 30. The reception is Sept. 12, 5 – 7 pm. The Meadows Art Gallery is located in Scandia Village in Sister Bay. For more information call 920.854.4416.
