The Myth & Mystery of Coffee

Vicki Wilson, co-owner of Door County Coffee & Tea, will share the myth and mystery of coffee in a presentation on Aug. 24 at 2 pm.

“There are so many fun facts surrounding coffee. For instance, coffee is the number two traded commodity in the world,” Wilson said. “What I would like to share are the basics of making the best cup of coffee in the world. It’s not magic, but there are specific roasting, grinding, and brewing techniques that will enrich and enhance the quality of coffee.”

Founded in 1993, Door County Coffee & Tea was originally located in Forestville; the company relocated to Carlsville in 1997. Several expansions later, the business has grown to include a roastery, retail space, and restaurant.
