The Orchard’s New Clubhouse Ready for Golf Season

After suffering the loss of the clubhouse last summer due to a fire, The Orchard’s Golf Course in Egg Harbor is prepared to showcase its new and improved clubhouse. The new 9,000 square foot clubhouse features a larger, full-service bar and grill, increased outdoor seating, locker and shower facilities, an expanded Pro Shop and a large meeting room that can seat 50. The club now also offers the ability to hold wedding receptions or large group functions.

Jack Jackson, Managing Partner of The Orchard’s, has spent the entire off-season working to get the clubhouse re-built. He was instrumental in keeping the course open throughout the loss of the original clubhouse last August 15.

“By general contracting ourselves, and with hard work from all subcontractors we were able to finish the re-build in five months,” Jackson said.

Although the clubhouse is new, the course remains the same, notably rated 75/130 from the tips. The scenic, 18-hole championship course is 7,200 yards from the back tees with bent grass fairways that wander through woods, orchards and natural areas.
