The Ridges Hosts Photo Contest, Wreath-Making Workshop

The Ridges Sanctuary is hosting a photo contest through Dec. 13. It encourages participants to capture and share what they love about The Ridges to help foster awareness and appreciation for its natural beauty. 

Submit photos – taken at The Ridges or in Baileys Harbor with the theme of nature – through Facebook by tagging The Ridges and using #ridgesphoto2021. There’s also a new prize category this year for photos taken during The Ridges’ Natural Christmas on Dec. 11. 

The Ridges will also host a wreath-making workshop Dec. 3 and 4, 10-11:30 am, 12-1:30 pm and 2-3:30 pm. The cost of $20 includes the frame, wire, greens and decorative goodies needed to create one wreath or swag. Additional wreaths and swags are $10 each. Sessions are limited to 20 people, so advance registration is required by visiting ridgessanctuary.org.
