Door County artists Karsten Topelmann and Ellen Sprogoe-Topelmann shared their recent holiday painting, “The Santa Hug,” with the staff of the Peninsula Pulse.

The scene of the painting takes place in a wintery Ephraim. “May you also hug and embrace your loved ones this 2013 festive season and throughout the New Year,” write the couple.
