The Summer Show

The next show – the Summer Show – at the Meadows Art Gallery is somewhat different. This is a group of work that features the contributions of Sturgeon Bay artists.

The Summer Show at The Meadows will run to the end of August, with changes all through the summer. They will feature new work as the artists create new statements. These ongoing changes will give the viewer new things to see, and new directions that each artist might take.

Already included in the exhibit are original paintings in traditional media as well as mixed media. Fine art prints, jewelry additions and wearable art are scheduled.

Also included during the show will be changing shows of guest Door County artists. Exhibiting in the opening part of this show are: Barbara Sweeney, Madonna Siles, Karen DeNoto, Myrna Cohn, Pat Olson, Faith Frykman, Tim Kornowski, Debra Stroh-Larson and Lauretta Kelley.

The reception is set for June 20, 2 – 4 pm. The Meadows Art Gallery is located in Scandia Village in Sister Bay. Take Highway 57 to Sister Bay. Just before the Sister Bay hill, turn right on Canterbury Ln. and right again on Applewood Rd.
