“The Wonder Bread Years” at Peg Egan Performing Arts Center

The production of The Wonder Bread Years, featuring Pat Hazell, one of the top writers from the show Seinfeld, will take the stage at the Peg Egan Performing Art Center’s on July 14 at 7 pm.

The Wonder Bread Years, written and directed by Pat Hazell, is a hilarious one-man show and reminds us that there is still a kid inside all of us. A salute to pure escapism and the Baby Boomer Generation, The Wonder Bread Years is akin to opening a time capsule packed with the most common youth-filled joys of childhood, such as: Hula Hoop contests, lawn darts, Kool-Aid, Big Wheels, Eskimo Pies, Clackers, Tuffskin Jeans, and Barbie Dolls.

The Wonder Bread Years is a fabulous and fun show that lets the older generation savor the past with a hilarious walk down memory lane and will enlighten the younger generation with a look at what the world looked like when their parents were young,” said Terry Lundahl, managing director of the Peg Egan PAC.

Peg Egan PAC performances are free and open to the public. The center is located on Church Street in Egg Harbor. In case of rain, concerts are held at the Calvary Methodist Church at 4650 Country E in Egg Harbor. For more information call 920.493.5979.
