Write On, Door County will begin two new four-week classes for beginning and experienced writers in late March.
The Playwrights’ Studio with Richard Gustin will explore the development of character, scene, monologue and ensemble building. Gustin is a playwright, actor, director and producer who brings an eclectic approach to the playwriting process.
The class will meet via Zoom weekly on Tuesdays, March 29 – April 19, 6:30-8:30 pm. Tuition is $80 per person, with scholarships available.
Poet Donna Hilbert will lead Writing the Catastrophe, a class for poets with previous workshop experience. Participants will work on creating a series of shorter poems on a weighty topic such as grief or loss.
This will be a hybrid class with both online and in-person (at Write On’s writing center) options available that will meet weekly on Thursdays, March 31 – April 21, 6-8:30 pm. Tuition is $100 per person, and scholarships are available. Find out more and register for the workshops at writeondoorcounty.org.
