Theatre Lab Begins in May

StageKids at Third Avenue Playhouse offer a Theatre Lab for middle and high school students, May 7 – June 14.

For six weeks, students will meet twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays working with professionals from the Stage Door Theatre Company, TAP’s professional resident theatre company. Lab sessions will cover acting, musical theatre, scene study, improvisation, and film technique.

The final Lab session on June 14 will include a public performance by lab students performing pieces worked over the course of the six-week lab. This capstone performance is an opportunity for students to share their work with friends, family and TAP company members. The performance will be filmed and all students will receive a copy of the performance.
