Theatre M Presents “Three Actors – Three Monologues”

Theater M at Woodwalk Gallery will presents “Three Actors – Three Monologues,” from Talking Heads by Alan Bennett, for six performances beginning Friday, September 10 at 7:30 pm.

The New York Times Book Review said, “Bennett’s genius is his ability to satirize humanely. His prose is like stained glass: if you stare at it, you see things you missed.” This award winning series of solo pieces celebrates Bennett’s exceptional ability to combine “razor sharp wit and deeply felt humanity.”

Craig Little and Sheila Sabrey Saperstein direct three “extraordinary portraits of ordinary people,” performed by three Door County actors: Mary White, Amy Ensign, and Mark Moede.

“Be prepared to laugh, cry, and think with us as we bring Mr. Bennett’s beautiful words to life,” said Mark Moede. “These characters challenge the actors and the audience.”

Performances of “Three Actors – Three Monologues” are September 10 – 12 and 17 – 19 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 at the door or available by calling 920.868.2912. The Gallery is located at 6746 County Road G in Egg Harbor.
