Third Avenue Playhouse announces the cast of the upcoming StageKids production of Ken Ludwig’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. This year’s casting call drew the largest number of students auditioning to date. The cast includes students from Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol and Southern Door. They are: Dalena Pakalske (Aunt Brierly), Cole Albertson (Amos), Bea Dramm (Emily), Riley Anderson (Wendell Sneed), Annabel Clarke (Britannia Sneed), Grace Alberts (Calliope), Natalie Meikle (Sir Guy of Gisbourne), Owen Ensign-Foulds (Mulch), Zeno McCarthy (Amos of Kansas) and Kole Mallien (Santa Claus). The cast also includes Lilly Turner and Claire Bohn as reindeer; Molly Hall, Eva Leiberg and Krista Jacobson as elves; Sydney Turner, Zoey Copiskey, Wolfgang Virgin, Delaney Skiba and Cade Marit as mice. Amy Ensign is director, Logan Thomas is lighting & sound technician and stage manager, and Debbie Finn is costume designer.
Members of the cast are both veterans of and new to StageKids productions. Of the veterans, some have played larger parts in the past and are taking smaller supporting roles this time around so newer members have a chance to play leading roles.
Ken Ludwig’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas is showing Dec. 8 & 9 at 7:30 pm, with a Sunday matinee Dec. 10 at 2 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and student tickets are free when accompanied by an adult, courtesy of a generous grant to TAP’s StageKids’ program from Dennis and Bonnie Connolly.
