Third Avenue Playhouse Features Folk-Rock Duo

Marybeth Mattson

Door County singer/songwriters Seth Raddatz and Marybeth Mattson will perform at Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) in Sturgeon Bay on April 10 at 7:30 pm as part of the Tuesdays at TAP Series to benefit the Door County Humane Society.

Son of local folk icon Mark Raddatz, Seth Raddatz has been performing throughout the county since the age of 13. He weaves folk-rock and country styles with haunting and heartfelt lyrics. His songs reflect a passion for life and the universal hardships that life brings.

A relatively new songwriter, Marybeth Mattson first began singing with her mother Jeanne Kuhns a few years ago. She has developed her own sound and an undeniable charm. Her lyrics are poetic and deliberate, offering a new twist on the folk genre as she enchants listeners with level and lovely vocals. She is currently finishing her first album, titled Relative Hunger, due to be released May 27.

The duo are thrilled to play in support of the Door County Humane Society, which provides a safe haven for lost or homeless pets while working to reunite them with their owners or place them with a new loving family.

TAP is located at 239 N. Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. For more information or to reserve tickets, call 920.743.1760 or visit http://www.ThirdAvenuePlayhouse.com.
