Door County Beer Festival

Say you have a dad that appreciates a nice cool one every now and then, the Door County Beer Festival is perfect for him. A celebration of craft beer, culinary artisans, and live music in Baileys Harbor. Meet Wisconsin’s leading brewers, Door County’s top chefs, and enjoy beers from more than 50 different Midwest breweries. Peninsula Century Spring Classic

Maybe if your father is more of the athletic/outdoorsy type, then riding bikes on the back roads of Door County would be a great activity. Take in breathtaking views of Lake Michigan in this ride partnered with Give Door County. Fyr Bal Festival 

Maybe big bonfires that represent the the burning of the “Winter’s Witch” is more your dad’s style. Take him to Ephraim on the shoreline of Eagle Harbor to embrace the village’s Scandinavian heritage with a day of music, dancing, crafts, artisans and a big fireworks show to close the festival. Door County has so many fantastic restaurants to take your dad to celebrate Father’s Day. If he wants his breakfast wrapped up in a tortilla, Good Eggs is the place for him. What dad doesn’t love baseball? Take him to see local sluggers compete in this homegrown baseball league. Games across the county start at 1:30 pm. Read more>>

What’s playing this weekend?

Dads love movies too. Take pops to see the origin story of his favorite childhood hero, Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story. But before that, The Incredibles 2, the sequel to one of the best family movies, is premiering at the drive-in. Entry gate opens 7:45 pm and closes about 10 minutes after the start of the second show.
