Wine Fest

On June 22 (12-4 pm), enjoy unlimited tasting of award-winning wines from eight local wineries and relaxing music from the Fabulous Rugburns at Wine Fest’s new location in Sunset Park, Sturgeon Bay. Paddlefest

Stop by Waterfront Park in Sister Bay this Saturday (June 22, 9:30 am-1 pm) to check out the latest in kayaks and SUP paddleboards. Demonstrations and free use of kayaks and paddleboards provided by Bay Shore Outfitters. Try SUP yoga (9:15-10am) or a group kayak paddle (9-10am). Uncork Summer

Hosted by Wickman House Restaurant on June 22 (10 am-4 pm), the sixth annual Uncork Summer will offer small-plate, gourmet dishes from restaurants throughout Door County, as well as samplings from local markets, wineries, and distilleries. A bar and beverage tent, courtesy of Wickman House and Mink River Basin, will provide beer, cider and craft cocktails. Well-known local acoustic musicians perform live throughout the day. Open Door Pride Festival

This Saturday (June 22), join in the fun as Open Door Pride celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in Door County. The day will be packed with music, entertainment, and family-friendly activities, all taking place at Sturgeon Bay’s Martin Park (11 am-5 pm). Free and open to the community. Music and Performance

Birch Creek Music Performance Center presents “Playfully Percussive: Beautiful Music to Make You Smile,” a percussion and steel band concert, on June 21 (beginning at 7pm). Pre-concert music in the gazebo. $29/adults. $10/students. $6/children. Visit birchcreek.org for more information.

Next in the Midsummer’s Music series at Fish Creek’s Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion (June 23, 3 pm), enjoy “Quintessential Quintets.” Featuring music by Wolfgang Mozart and Johannes Brahms, as well as a poetry reading. Visit midsummermusic.com for more information.

Bring the whole family to Northern Sky Theater this weekend for “Dairy Heirs” (June 21), a modern day family farming moo-sical, and “We Like it Where?” (June 22), the story of a small WI town, set in 1967. Visit northernskytheater.com for more information and for tickets.

“A Trick of the Light” plays this Saturday (June 22), performed by the Peninsula Players. Watch as 40-something year old, Eddie, discovers that he can become invisible. Visit peninsulaplayers.com for more information and for tickets.

Outdoor Fun

The 10th annual Crossroads Trail Run/walk will take place on Saturday (June 22) at 8 am. Including a 10K, 5K, and 2K Fun run, this chip-timed event is for all ages, levels of runners/walkers and is a great family event. Visit crossroadsrun.com for more information and to register.
