Thomas Cretney Wins Tie for Kewaunee Supervisor

Thomas Cretney is the winner of the tied election in the race for District 10 Kewaunee County Board of Supervisors (the Town of Franklin). He and John Wochos each received 102 votes in the April 3 election. On April 10, the Kewaunee County Board of Canvassers chose to draw a name out of a box to decide the winner of that seat. The Board of Canvassers has verified ballots cast by 5,483 registered voters from the spring election and finalized the Kewaunee County Board of Supervisors. The Kewaunee County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday, April 24, at 5:30 pm for an organizational session and elect the Kewaunee County Board of Supervisors chair, as well as find out on which committee(s) that they will serve.
