Thomas Jordan’s ‘One Week in Cuba’ Recognized by International Book Awards

One Week in Cuba – a coffee-table book by Door County author and photographer Thomas Jordan – was named Finalist/Best Photography at the 2019 International Book Awards. He was the only amateur photographer recognized. 

“I was stunned when I looked up the websites of the other finalists,” Jordan said. “One of them had worked for National Geographic. The winner was originally from Switzerland and had a list of awards that went on and on.”

This was the third time Jordan has received this recognition: His coffee-table books on Door County were finalists in 2016 and 2017. Jordan’s books are available at Novel Bay Booksellers in Sturgeon Bay.
