Three Out of Four Door County Retailers Check IDs for Tobacco

Annually re:TH!NK, the Lakeshore Tobacco Prevention Network completes WIWINS compliance checks in Door County to ensure retailers keep tobacco products out of the hands of our kids. Three out of four retailers consistently check IDs in Door County, with a rate of tobacco sales to minors in 2015 at 22.6 percent. Pay attention to the placement of tobacco products within the store and thank those retailers that place all tobacco products behind the counter.
