Thrivent Financial Teams with Habitat for Humanity to Improve Home

Thrivent Financial and Door County Habitat for Humanity hosted an event to help a homeowner upgrade their home and neighborhood through a partnership program called Thrivent Builds Repairs. Community volunteers, a youth group from Eau Claire and Thrivent Financial representatives Glen Rossman and Jacqueline Szczepanski came together the week of July 13 at a Sturgeon Bay home to pave a path and complete improvements to an existing deck/ramp.

“The Thrivent Builds partnership is helping Door County Habitat increase the number of families served in our community by helping home owners stay in their homes,” said David Van Dyke, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity. “We are so grateful for Thrivent’s support of our efforts to build homes and repair homes in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing.”
