Time for Art on the Wild Side

The Peg Egan PAC and the Southern Door Community Auditorium will offer a free visual and performing arts summer day camp for children ages 6 – 12 focusing on music and art using performance, demonstrations and other fun activities. “Art on the Wild Side” summer day camp features Door County visual and performing artists as facilitators.

Children are challenged while building friendships, embracing diverse experiences and learning new skills. Each day of the week children will have the opportunity to focus on different visual and performing arts activities.

Workshops include: Paint Me a Song, Broadway Song Birds, Jewelry Making, The Beat & Beyond, Drama In A Bag, All That Jazz, Songwriting for Kids, Fiber Arts/Puppet Making, Intention Dolls, and Dream Flags (flags made in this camp will be donated to Ministry Door County Medical Center; participants will also create a flag to take home).

Peg Egan PAC dates are June 23 – 27 and Southern Door Auditorium dates are July 14 – 18. All workshops are scheduled for 8 – 10:30 am. Early registration is required for all camps. To register, call 920.493.5979.
