Tina Guo, a senior at Sturgeon Bay High School (SBHS), has been named the winner of the 2016 Bordui Foundation scholarship competition. She will be awarded $15,000 toward her attendance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Guo was selected from a group of 10 applicants by the foundation’s trustees following consideration of grade point average, test scores, an essay submission, an interview, and input from the school’s faculty scholarship committee. The Bordui Foundation is a charitable foundation established by Peter Bordui, a 1978 graduate of Sturgeon Bay High School, who also serves as a trustee. The foundation has awarded more than $300,000 to graduating SBHS seniors since 2003.
