‘Tis the Season for the Hagen Family Christmas Show in Door County, WI

The Hagen Family returns to the Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) for their annual Christmas concert on Saturday, December 20 at 7:30 pm. The harmonies, humorous presentation, wide variety of material and family values of this multigenerational group have made the Hagens’ favorites throughout the county and the state. Longtime supporters of the TAP, the Hagens’ December concert has become a holiday tradition.

Begun by their late father, Jack Hagen, the legacy of music has continued through Julian Hagen, his sisters Linda Swan and Leila Nehlsen, and their families. Joining the Hagens’ this year are award-winning musician Tommy Burroughs, violinist and fiddler Lynn Gudmundsen, Rich Higdon on bass and spoons, and washboard and percussionist Pat Judy.

“At TAP, we say that it just isn’t Christmas until the Hagen Family sings,” says Judy Drew, TAP’s Executive Director, who also notes that the “show always sells out, so we urge people to buy tickets in advance.”

Box office hours are 10 am – 3 pm, Monday through Friday and one hour prior to performances. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and $8 for children under 12.
