Tom Davis Named Notable WI Author

The Wisconsin Library Association (WLA) announced that Thomas Davis of Sturgeon Bay has been named a Notable Wisconsin Author, and his book of poetry, Meditations on Ceremonies of Beginnings, has been named an Outstanding Book of Poetry by a Wisconsin Poet. The WLA gives out these awards to Wisconsin writers and poets on an annual basis.

In addition to publishing his book of poetry, Davis also co-edited the anthology, No More Can Fit Into the Evening, that included nine Door County poets as well as significant poets from around the English-speaking world.

Davis has published five novels, including Apples for the Wild Stallion, In the Unsettled Homeland of Dreams, two epic poems, one book of poetry and a non-fiction book about sustainability that had an international readership.
