Tooth Fairy Making Annual Appearance at Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic

Just in time for National Children’s Dental Health Month, the Tooth Fairy is set to make an appearance at Door County Medical Center (DCMC) Dental Clinic’s annual Tooth Fairy Fundraiser.

The clinic provides oral health care to children and adults from Door and Kewaunee counties, and the fundraiser is one of the most important opportunities for the clinic to raise funds.

The event will kick off Feb. 17-21, 11:30 am – 1 pm, at DCMC’s Sturgeon Bay campus. Volunteers and “tooth fairies” will promote the event during the lunch hour each day, and donors may support the clinic by purchasing a white, silver or gold “tooth.” The sale will remain open throughout the month, and donors may donate at any DCMC clinic.

“The fun part of this event is the tooth fairies, who are typically our employees and their children, who dress up in costume to collect money,” said Tanya Fischer, director of the DCMC Dental Clinic. “It’s an engaging event that helps our dental clinic significantly.”
