Tour Crossroads This Weekend

Crossroads at Big Creek is offering tours of the Bertha and Hans Hanson House May 19-21, 2-4 pm, to share stories about the people of The Cove Estuary Preserve. Park across the street from The Cove, 817 S. 20th Place in Sturgeon Bay.

Volunteers of all ages are invited to help with land-restoration efforts May 20, 9-11 am. Instruction, equipment, gloves, cookies and lemonade are all provided. 

Tours of the Heritage Garden at Crossroads will also take place May 20, 10 am – 1:30 pm, as part of the Door County Historical Society’s season-opening day at Heritage Village. Crossroads and Master Gardener volunteers will lead the tours.

Then join members of the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society for a viewing night May 20, 9 pm. Explore the night sky in the StarGarden or with images from the new telescope. If skies are cloudy, planetarium shows will be offered in the Stonecipher Astronomy Center, 2200 Utah St. in Sturgeon Bay.Learn more about all the activities at Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, at crossroadsatbigcreek.org.
