Tour the Hidden Galleries of Ellison Bay

“Crawdad Hunters” by R.D. Bentley.

On July 26 and 27, 10 am – 5 pm, three studio/galleries challenge visitors to find them on the rural back-roads of Ellison Bay on the “Hidden Galleries” Tour. The artists will be in residence to welcome guests and discuss their art. The tour includes:

• Steven Woodward at 12543 Door Bluff Road

Widely exhibited and collected, Woodward’s sculptures range in size, scope and style from exquisite, small delights to monumental, breathtaking constructions.

• Jim Maronek, Ellison Wonderland at Silver Poplar Studios at 1519 East Door Bluff Road

Featured in his log barn gallery are fanciful depictions celebrating Liberty Grove’s heritage road program, along with a wide variety of paintings and stage designs. The award-winning “St. Kreditus” will also be on display.

• R. D. Bentley Studio/Gallery at 1076 Elm Road.

Bob has a distinguished career as a successful portrait artist but also has other sides to his art, including “Flights of Fancy” and “Portscapes,” which, along with his bold landscapes, are surprises worth experiencing.

This tour repeats September 27 and 28. If you get lost and need directions, call 854.2106.
