Tours Return to Horseshoe Bay Farms

Explore the incredible history and exciting future of Horseshoe Bay Farms during a docent-led tour of the property this summer. Guided tours begin for the season on June 1 and continue Wednesday-Sunday at 10 am and 1 pm.

Tours are $10 and are led by knowledgeable volunteers who share the history of what was once one of the largest and most innovative dairy farms in Wisconsin. Register online at horseshoebayfarms.org, and take the kids to explore the gardens, historical barns and Stickwork art installation. Children younger than 13 tour for free.

People are also encouraged to stop by the property between 8 am and 6 pm any day to see the gardens and Stickwork installation, but the barns will be open only during tours.

The farm, which more than 4,000 people visited in 2022, will also host a vintage car show July 1 and will be open to artists for Peninsula School of Art’s Plein Air Festival on July 26.

Then on Aug. 13, the organization will host a special Farm Family and Cherry Camp Reunion. People who worked on the farm, or whose family worked on the farm or in the orchards, are encouraged to return to share stories and help document the history of this important part of Door County’s past.

Horseshoe Bay Farms is located at 7212 Horseshoe Bay Road, about three miles south of the Village of Egg Harbor. Call 920.495.9988 to get more information.
