Town Hall Bakery Concert Series Continues

The Town Hall Bakery Concert Series will continue in Jacksonport with the musical stylings of Door County’s own Jeanne Kuhns, Ben Larsen and Dan Mayhew on Friday, August 8 and with Andrew Calhoun, a folksinger from Chicago, on Friday, August 15.

Kuhns, Larsen and Mayhew will perform a mix of clever, contemporary originals and classic acoustic pop with lush three-part harmonies. Combining guitar, mandolin, congas, and various percussive instruments with top-notch vocals, this show is guaranteed to be energetic, fun and will touch your heartstrings at least a few times. Combining classic songs by the likes of Jackson Brown, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor and Keb Mo with Kuhn’s folk /rock originals and Mayhew’s country/pop-style originals ensures a musical experience designed to reach a wide audience.

Then, on the following Friday, Andrew Calhoun will play “new and used songs.” This performer, described as able to see the world through other people’s eyes, has put together a historical collection of spirituals and ballads that he will share in the intimate setting of the Town Hall Bakery.
