Townline Art Fair Returns to Fine Line Designs

The lawn at Fine Line Designs Gallery will be filled with art and artisans as the gallery hosts the 43th Annual Townline Art Fair, Oct. 8 & 9. More than 60 artists representing all media are scheduled to exhibit during the two-day show held rain or shine. “This is a wonderful juried art show celebrating the fall colors in Door County with professional artists from around the Midwest,” said Shari Gransee, gallery owner and art fair coordinator. Show hours are Saturday 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 10 am – 4 pm.

Several onsite demonstrations will take place during the festival. Gallery artist Steve Gerhartz will paint en plein air along with several art fair participants demonstrating in ceramics and fiber.

Glass, pottery, metal sculpture, paintings, photography, jewelry, fiber art and woodworking will be under tents for the approximately 5,000 people that annually attend the show.

The original art fair started at a farm 40 years ago on Townline Road. “At Fine Line Designs, we’re excited to continue the tradition for the last 34 years,” said Gransee.

Admission and on-site parking are free. Guests should enter on Highway 42 just north of Ephraim at Fine Line Designs Gallery. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The gallery is open daily 10 am-6 pm, Sunday, 10 am- 5pm. For more information call 920.854.4343.
