Traveling Experimental Art

“Inside Looking Out I” by David A Franke.

Egg Harbor artist David A Franke’s sculptural assemblage, “Inside Looking Out I,” is part of the ISEA International Exchange Exhibit. The exhibit began at BIG ARTS gallery on Sanibel Island, Florida last November through December. The exhibit then moved to the National Watercolor Society Gallery in San Pedro, Cali. from Jan. 25 through February 28 and ends its run at Wales Art Central, Town Hall Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, Country of Wales until August 30.

The assemblage was created from copper tubing, wood, stone, bone, stainless steel, brass, glass, and a prosthetic eye.

The primary mission of the International Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA) organization is to encourage and promote artists who create their art using experimental materials, concepts, attitude and techniques. Each year ISEA hosts several prestigious art exhibits both in the US and internationally that showcase and celebrate the experimental nature of art.
