Tree Lighting, Parade and Santa

The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center will host its annual Christmas by the Bay event Nov. 21 – 23. The weekend kicks off on Nov. 21 at 7 pm with a tree lighting ceremony at the clock tower on Third Avenue, complete with live music from Josh Gregory, Hervy Hodges and Nick Hoover from 6 to 8 pm. There will also be free wagon rides available from 6 to 8 pm.

The festive holiday fun continues Nov. 22 with Sturgeon Bay’s annual holiday parade at 10 am. The parade will start at Sawyer Park and proceed to Oak Street followed by Madison Avenue before heading across the Oregon Street Bridge. Once across the bridge, the parade will continue onto Third Avenue and up Jefferson Street to 6th Avenue. Following the parade, the public is welcome to meet Santa and his reindeer at the Door County Historical Museum from 11 am to 3 pm. Josh Gregory, Hervy Hodges and Nick Hoover will perform live music from noon to 2 pm. Free wagon and trolley rides will be available from 11 am to 3 pm.

The weekend comes to a close Nov. 23 during breakfast with Santa at Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center from 9:30 to 11 am. For more information call 800.301.6695 or visit SturgeonBay.net.
