Trinette Gordon Receives P.E.O. Grant for Nursing

Trinette Gordon – a Northeast Wisconsin Technical College student whom the P.E.O. Chapter DF of Sturgeon Bay (peointernational.org) has sponsored – has earned a P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education Grant. 

Gordon is pursuing an associate degree in nursing. She received her certification as a licensed practical nurse in 2016 as a stepping stone to reach her goal of being a registered nurse. 

The P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education was established in 1973 to provide need-based grants to women in the U.S. and Canada whose education has been interrupted and who are returning to school to support themselves and/or their families.
