Try An Ancient Art Form

Come with curiosity and leave with enthusiasm from the “Introduction to Chinese Brush Painting” workshop on July 25 & 26, 11 am – 3 pm, at Cupola House, 7826 Highway 42, Egg Harbor. Practice the basic strokes and paint the “four gentlemen”: bamboo, wild orchid, chrysanthemum and plum blossom. Become familiar with the “four treasures”: ink stone, ink stick, brush and paper. Instructor Patricia Fremarek will show the class both spontaneous and contour techniques. This class is open to all levels. No experience necessary. The cost is $5.
