“Turkey and Tinsel” at Meadows Gallery

The next exhibit for the Meadows Art Gallery is Turkey and Tinsel, a special show that was created out of the two exhibits normally running in November and December.

The Meadows Art Gallery will be closed during January for some necessary maintenance. For this reason, the Meadows have combined two shows into one exhibit. Turkey and Tinsel features as many Door County artists as possible who have been in a previous Meadows exhibit this year. Some of the work is not for sale, but most of the art displayed will be for immediate sale, right off the wall. So, the works can be purchased and immediately taken home as Christmas presents.

Artists in the exhibit are Nancy Akerly, Mary Blichmann, Beverly Hart Branson, Dennis Connolly, Ethel Davis, Jen Gaddes, Don Howard, Brigitte Kozma, Mary Nelson, Marcia Nickols, Christy Ohman, Bonnie Sandstrom, Erland Sandstrom, Karen Sandstrom, Tom Seagard, Madonna Siles, Arlene Stanger, Steve Stanger and Betts Williams. They will share their work in photography, painting, drawing, pottery, knitting, box assemblage and jewelry.

The Meadows Gallery is open from 10 am to 5 pm all week. This show runs Dec. 1 to Jan. 5. The reception is Dec. 16, 2 -4 pm.

The gallery is located in the Meadows Independent Living Apartments at Scandia Village in Sister Bay. For more information call 920.854.2317 or Tom Seagard at 920.854.4416.
