Turning Point DC Offers Pre-Vocational Services at Jan. 16 Open House

Turning Point DC, in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of Door County and Managed Care Organizations (Care Wisconsin, Lakeland and IRIS), will offer pre-vocational day services at the Boys and Girls Club opening in February, focusing on young adults to prepare them for the workforce and provide computer instruction, crafts, fitness and fun. The open house is for young adults ages 24 and older who have barriers to employment or experience limitations in their life. The open house will be held Jan. 16, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm, at the Boys and Girls Club, 55 S. Third Ave., Sturgeon Bay. Lunch will be served from 12 – 1 pm. RSVP for lunch at 920.333.2104. Turning Point DC encourages all Managed Care Organizations and the public to come and attend the open house to learn more.

Turning Point DC provides services such as supported employment, job shadows, temporary work experiences, job prep, as well as developmental and benefits analysis to individuals who may need additional support. For more information call 920.333.2104.
