Turtle Ridge Art Camps Are Back

The Turtle Ridge Gallery team offers one of its most popular Art Camps — Make Your Tote Bag — on Jan. 19-20. The course starts with a Friday-night orientation and refreshments (on Jan. 18). It’s a six-hour class with two three-hour sessions on Saturday and Sunday, so there’s enough free time to explore Door County parks, nature, restaurants and shopping.

Space is limited to six participants. Participants will design, construct, line and finish their own tote bag. An embossed design, or an embossed and painted oval design, can be incorporated into the design of the tote. An embossing demo will take place during the Friday orientation. No sewing skills are needed to complete the class.

For the winter months, Turtle Ridge has planned a number of Art Camps, including camps to make cross-body bags, men’s wallets or leather journals, and leather pins. Private Art Camps can be arranged as well. For more information, visit TurtleRidgeGallery.com.
