Two Collection Days Set for Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Program

Common household products and other potentially harmful chemicals can be properly disposed of during the Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Program.

The Sister Bay collection is Nov. 2, 3:30 – 5:30 pm, at the Sister Bay Liberty Grove Fire Department (2258 Mill Road). The Sturgeon Bay collection is Nov. 3, 8 – 10:30 am, at the Door County Highway Department (1001 S. Duluth). The collections are first come, first served.

Appropriate items to bring include aerosol cans, oven cleaners, batteries (not auto, boat, ATV), antifreeze, fertilizers, etc.

Computer parts, tires, prescription meds, ammunition and oil will not be accepted.
