Two Die in Crash in Nasewaupee

Two Green Bay residents died in a two-vehicle crash May 12 at 6:30 pm in the Town of Nasewaupee, at the intersection near Cherryland Airport.

The initial investigation revealed that a 2011 BMW was traveling northbound on County PD when it failed to stop for a stop sign. The BMW was struck by a 2015 Ford F-150 pickup truck that was traveling eastbound on County C.

Joseph P. Jacques, 52, Green Bay, a passenger in the BMW, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the BMW, 16-year-old Gabriela Jacques, also of Green Bay, died after being transported to a Green Bay hospital. Another passenger, Maria Toussaint Jacques, 20, of Austin, Texas, was also injured.

The driver of the pickup truck, Jeffrey Olcott, 60, of Wausau, was not injured.

The area was closed for several hours while the crash was investigated and traffic was diverted. The Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit assisted the Door County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.

The crash remains under investigation.
