Two Great Events to Support One Great Sanctuary

On Sunday, July 10, The Ridges Sanctuary will sponsor its fourth annual summer fundraiser at the Alpine Resort in Egg Harbor. “A Round for the Ridges” is a 9-hole scramble golf outing with a shotgun start at 3 pm, and “2nd Round for the Ridges,” featuring food, music, silent auction, raffle, and cash bar, begins at 5:30 pm in the Yodel Inn at the Alpine Resort.

Golfers will enjoy an afternoon round of golf, with fun hole contests and cash prizes, on the scenic blue course at Alpine. Golfers may sign up as teams or individuals in three categories: men, women, and mixed/co-ed. Prizes will be awarded to the team members with the lowest scores in each category. Cost is $75 per person (before July 1) and includes greens fees, carts, and admission to the post-golf event, “2nd Round for the Ridges.”

The “2nd Round for the Ridges” for non-golfers costs $15 and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music, cash bar, a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction. Some of the many auction items include a Kari Anderson watercolor, jewelry, wine and liquor baskets, various hand-crafted and folk art pieces, an air tour of Door County, lodging packages and gift certificates.

Proceeds from both of these events will help fund the educational programs at The Ridges and sustain the beauty of the sanctuary.

To sign up, purchase tickets, or for more information, please call the Ridges at 920.839.2802 or email [email protected]. After July 1, golf fee changes to $90 per person, so purchase tickets and/or secure your golf spot as soon as possible.
