Two Kayak Classes by Kayaking Adventures of Door County

A coastal sea-kayaking workshop for beginners will be offered by Kayaking Adventures Door County (KADC) on Friday, July 2 from 12 – 6 pm. Geared to the novice adult sea kayaker, this workshop will cover the following topics: boat fit, paddle strokes, boat maneuvering, wet exits and rescues. Instructors are ACA-certified (American Canoe Association) and all equipment is provided. Cost is $75 per person.

A coastal sea kayaking workshop for advanced beginners will be offered on Saturday, July 3, from 9 am – 3:30 pm. Geared to the adult sea kayakers, this workshop will cover intermediate level kayak strokes and skills, basic compass and chart reading and open water paddling. Previous paddling experience is required. Contact KADC for a complete list of prerequisites. Instructors are ACA-certified (American Canoe Association) and all equipment is provided. Cost is $85 per person.
