Two-Vehicle Accident in Lincoln

On Oct. 4 at approximately 6:44 pm deputies of the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on County C at Hawk Road in the township of Lincoln. The accident involved a farm implement pulling a self-unloading wagon that was traveling southbound on County C, attempting to turn east on Hawk Road. The wagon was struck from the rear by a 1997 Honda Prelude that was also traveling southbound. The farm implement was operated by a 32-year-old male from Kewaunee who was not injured in the accident. The Prelude was operated by a 22-year-old male from Algoma who sustained substantial injuries. The driver was treated by Luxemburg Rescue and Lincoln First Responders and then transported by medical air transport to a medical facility in Green Bay. His condition is unknown at this time. The accident remains under investigation by the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department.
