Unique Accessories at Bazyli Studio Wearable Art

From Aug. 10 – 24, Bazyli Studio Wearable Art will focus on art-fashion accessories. The show features works by Ilze Heider, Joan Kennedy and Bazyli Studio artists Peter and Skye.

Heider, a well-established Milwaukee artist, creates handcrafted leather bags. Each piece has Heider’s unique artistic embellishment. Kennedy, from West Bend, creates wool purses and accessories. Her works focus on the details and is inspired by nature.

Bazyli resident artists, Peter and Skye, feature their necklaces, pendants, earrings and cuffs. There’s also an array of scarves from painted silks, felted wool, hand-woven cotton, to Shibori dyed and more. Silk ties are also available by master Shibori artist Carter Smith.

Bazyli Studio Wearable Art Gallery, located at 2551 Ahrens Road in Baileys Harbor, features one-of-a-kind, sustainable clothing designs. They are open 10 am – 5 pm Wednesday through Sunday or by appointment; call 920.839.2526.
