United Methodist Church to host Cross Culture VBS: Expedition Norway. Community children are invited to embark on “Expedition Norway,” a four-day Vacation Bible School at the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church. The program runs through Thursday, Sept. 1. No church affiliation is necessary. VBS Norway runs from 9 am to 11:30 am each day. The afternoon programming runs till 5 pm. Cost for this daylong event is only $20 per family for all four days. (This includes lunch and all activities.) During this four-day event, VBS kids will visit a replica of a typical Norwegian seaside village, play games, share Norwegian treats, and explore what daily life is like for kids in Norway. Plus, they get to watch a video visit with real kids in Norway each day. Afternoon Kids Activities (AKA) programming will include outdoor and indoor games, movies, snacks, craft projects, puzzles, board games, storytelling and a Scavenger Hunt.
